                                                                               NOTICE OF FREMONT COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION

   Notice is hereby given to qualified electors of Fremont County, Iowa, that a Primary Election will be held in the following polling places listed below on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. 
   An OpenElect Voting Interface (OVI)
, handicap accessible marking device, and an OpenElect Voting Optical (OVO), machine with paper ballots will be used in the election
   process. Polling places will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.  A sample ballot is also included in this publication for voter review.   

   Deadline to vote absentee, in-person, at the Fremont County Auditorís Office is Monday, June 4, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Any person unable to get to the polls
   on June 5, may send a written absentee ballot request to the Auditorís Office, P.O. Box 610, Sidney, IA 51652.  Deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is May 25,
   2018 at 5:00 p.m.

   Any voter who is physically unable to enter a polling place has the right to vote in the voterís vehicle.  For further information, please contact the county auditorís office at the

                                                                   NOTICE OF CHANGE IN POLLING PLACE FOR PRIMARY ELECTION

                                                                                                 JUNE 5, 2018, FOR SIDNEY PRECINCT

   Notice is hereby given to qualified electors of the Fremont County, Iowa, that the Sidney Precinct will vote at United Faith Church at 1975 US-275, Sidney, IA.  This is a change
   from the Fremont County Court House.

                                                                                                           ID REQUIREMENTS

   Voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before they may receive and cast a ballot.  Pre-registered voters who are unable to show an
   approved ID may sign an oath of identification for an election held in 2018.  Voters who are not pre-registered or who have changed precincts also may be required to provide proof
   of residence.  Any voter who cannot show ID may have their identity attested to by another registered voter in the precinct who has proper ID.  Starting January 1, 2019, all voters

                                                                                                PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION AND TESTING

   Testing of the OpenElect Voting Optical (OVO) machine used in the tabulation of the ballots cast in this election will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. on the
   second floor of the courthouse.  The public is invited to attend.
